Digital Strategy 2024-2027

Our digital strategy was approved by Full Council in January 2024.

The challenges we face, along with changes in customer expectations and demand means that we need to embrace the opportunities that digital transformation can create to enhance service delivery, improve efficiency, and make the best use of our valuable resources and our people.

Greater adoption and evolution of council-wide digital services is no longer an aspiration. It is essential for us to keep pace with new technologies, create capacity within the council, and enhance the service offerings to our customers.

As a council, we want to use the best of modern digital services, technology, and data to help achieve our priorities and make our services quicker and easier for customers to access. The digital strategy is also about much more than just technology - it's also about evolving the way we work as a council to become more modern, agile, and adaptable to the changing needs of the public.
