Anthony Roche, Managing Director at North Herts District Council said: ”On this national day of reflection, today we remember over 300 residents of North Herts, who have died as a result of coronavirus, as well as those we have lost across the country. No-one could have predicted one year ago today, the impact the pandemic has had on each and every one of our lives. While case numbers in North Herts are currently thankfully declining, the last year has been a huge challenge to those living and working in our communities. While vaccines offer all of us hope, the impacts of the pandemic will continue to be felt for many months and years to come. Please remember to reach out to us if you are in need of our support.
