The Playing Pitch Strategy (PPS) and the Indoor Sports Facilities Strategy (ISFS) have been prepared to assist decision making on the amount, type and location of sports facilities within North Hertfordshire.
They are joint strategies resulting from the partnership working of stakeholders such as national governing bodies, facility providers, local clubs and leagues.
The strategies have been informed by assessment studies which were previously published and agreed by Full Council as part of the evidence base for the Local Plan.
The Playing Pitch Strategy and Action Plan and the Indoor Sports Facilities Strategy and Action Plan, were adopted by our Cabinet on 18 December 2018.
