On Saturday 23 March we are carrying out major IT and electrical maintenance work at our offices in Letchworth.
This will require several of our online services to be shut down for part of the day.
Work is scheduled to begin at 8am on 23 March and is expected to be completed by the end of the afternoon.
The services that will not be available on the day include:
- planning applications portal
- parts of the MyAccount customer self-service portal and councillor portal
- council meeting agendas, minutes and reports on the Modern.gov site
- job applications
- community hall bookings
- Hitchin Town Hall bookings
- burials bookings
- Herts Careline referrals
- web maps
- some Council Tax forms (e.g. apply for a refund, disablement relief, etc).
Phone lines to the offices and Customer Service Centre will also be affected (these are normally closed on Saturdays).
Our main public website at www.north-herts.gov.uk (not including the services listed above) will remain available.
Herts Careline’s control room is not affected and will continue to answer all emergency calls 24/7.
