Play the North Herts Community Lottery and support a local good cause to raise vital funds!
Since the first draw in 2022, over £20,000 has gone directly to local good causes and more than 700 people have won prizes so far, from extra tickets to £250, as well as £1,000 gift vouchers for John Lewis and a year's subscription to HelloFresh!
Tickets cost just £1 each with a 1 in 50 chance of winning a prize, from three extra tickets, to the jackpot of £25,000 – that’s a better chance of winning than the National Lottery or Health Lottery!
There is a draw every Saturday night when a six-digit winning combination will be picked.
How the lottery supports local good causes
From every £1 spent on a ticket:
- half (50p) goes directly to local good causes
- 20p goes to prizes
- 20p goes to our independent lottery management company Gatherwell to administer it
- 10p goes to a general council good causes fund
Players who do not wish to support a specific cause can still take part in the lottery, by purchasing a ticket through the main North Herts Community Lottery website with 60p of their ticket price going into our general good causes fund.
Local groups – how to sign up as a good cause
We have 38 good causes signed up but there’s room for more – it’s quick, easy, and best of all - free! Our independent lottery management company Gatherwell are on hand to provide help and support, including page set up, marketing materials and supporter data in real time.
Once you’re signed up you will receive 50% of all your ticket sales. It’s that simple!
