NHDC invites community centres and village halls to apply for grant funding

Date

PR Date: Friday, 25 October 2019 - 3:00pm

Do you know of a community centre or rural village hall in North Herts that’s in need of some renovation or restoration work? If so, North Hertfordshire District Council’s (NHDC) Community Facilities Capital Projects Fund could be of help.

Groups who run community centres and village halls can apply for grant funding to help update their buildings or put any needed building works in place, ensuring the centres and halls can be used as community facilities for many years to come.

The Fund has just opened for a new round of applications from any community buildings that meet the relevant criteria. Community centres and halls can receive between £10,000 - £50,000 if their application for funding is approved.

The deadline for NHDC to receive applications for this round of funding is 31 January 2020.
