The Council received the Inspector's Final Report on the Examination of the North Hertfordshire Local Plan 2011–2031 on 8 September 2022. Receipt of the Inspector’s Report marks the end of the examination.
The Inspector’s Report concludes that subject to a number of main modifications, set out in the Appendix to the report, the North Hertfordshire Local Plan 2011 – 2031 is sound, legally compliant and capable of adoption.
Following the Extraordinary Cabinet meeting on Wednesday 2 November approval was granted for the Local Plan and Inspector's Report to be presented to an Extraordinary Full Council meeting on Tuesday 8 November for debate on adoption.
