Everyone at North Herts Council is deeply saddened to hear of the horrific murder of Sir David Amess MP.
We wish to send our heartfelt condolences to Sir David’s family and our best wishes to anyone involved in the incident. We also thank all those in the emergency services who responded with such speed and courage. Sir David and his family will continue to be in our thoughts.
We condemn this murder and all attacks on politicians and the public they are democratically elected to represent.

We are saddened by the horrific murder of Member of Parliament, Sir David Amess.
We wish to send our condolences to Sir David Amess’ family, staff, friends, and constituents at this sad time.
As joint local political leaders we stand in solidarity in condemning this murder and all attacks on politicians and the public. We live in a democracy where we can have different views and freely debate them. Despite our differences we believe in making the local area, country, and world a better place. We have more in common than that which divides us.
