Dangerous parking should be reported to the police by calling 101.

Dropped kerb enforcement

Where a vehicle is obstructing a kerb that has been dropped to assist pedestrians crossing the road, you can report this to us by calling 01462 474631 during office hours. 

If a vehicle is parked across a dropped kerb leading to a vehicular access to your property, you can report it to us by calling 01462 474631 during office hours. This can only be reported by the resident of the affected property. 

We may be able to issue a Penalty Charge Notice but we are not able to remove the vehicle. We can only enforce on the public highway, not on private land.

Verge and pavement parking

If there are no parking restrictions in place, we will not be able to take enforcement action. We cannot take enforcement action on private land.

Where there are parking restrictions you can report verge or pavement parking to us by calling 01462 474631 during office hours. We may be able to issue a Penalty Charge Notice but we will be unable to remove the vehicle. If the vehicle is obstructing the pavement, you may report it to the police by calling 101.
