Your role
North Herts Council are looking to recruit a Catering Supervisor to work at the newly opened Howard Park, Bancroft Kiosk, Hitchin Town Hall & North Hertfordshire Museum Café.
This post would be suitable for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work within the Catering function at our facility to provide value for money and quality services for our customers.
As a Catering Supervisor, you will have responsibility for the Kiosk and Café service area and its associated officers. Your main responsibilities will be serving hot and cold beverages, sandwiches and ice-creams to the public within North Hertfordshire Museum Café, and Bancroft Kiosk, Howard Park and acting as a team lead in the absence of the Head Chef. You will be responsible for stock control and back of house fresh prep.
There is the opportunity for additional overtime working within Town Hall events on a casual basis if required.
The experience you will bring
You will either be an established or aspiring catering professional, with the relevant experience and qualifications as outlined in the Job Profile. Experience leading a team of junior level staff is preferred.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Front of House team at our brand-new facility.
